My daughter-in-law kindly reminded me that I don't always have to be profound or give tips when I do a blog post but posting photographs was very acceptable, so I have to thank her!  I have recently been on a few adventures and today, I will share some lake reflections from a nearby park that is now closed for the season.  In the scope of this adventure, I tried to push it more and more to the abstract.
First as I approached the lake certain things were hard to resist taking photographs of, so I start with some more recognizable scenes.

I was fortunate enough to travel to my home state of Wisconsin in July and I visited some of my favorite places.  This month's wallpaper was taken in the Rotary Gardens in Janesville, WI.  When I lived in Janesville, I visited these gardens often enjoying the flowers, scenery, sitting to rest, relax or read and just breathe in all the beauty.  It invigorates the soul and inspires the heart.  May you enjoy a bit of the beauty all month as your computer wallpaper.

Today I'm offering you a wallpaper sunrise to begin your New Year.  Taken in New Zealand at Queenstown with the Remarkables as the backdrop, the contrasting colors of this sunrise have always been one of my favorites.
