I recently returned from a trip to New Orleans and with Mardi Gras coming to that city soon, it was filled with all sorts of wonderful sights.  This month I've included several choices from New Orleans and, I'd be remiss if I didn't also include a Panama City Beach sunset.

It was my first time visiting the Big Easy and you could still see the destruction everywhere from Hurricane Katrina, markings still bearing witness on homes still in disrepair with head counts etc. roads impassable because of the floods that followed.  Then there was the amazing French Quarter with incredible architecture and street performers, ruckus and food. I didn't have nearly enough time.  I will have to return one day for more photography!
